At MEC Consulting, we help organisations navigate complexity with more confidence and less overwhelm. We’re specialists in change management consulting, program management consulting, and business transformation services that connect strategy to delivery – without losing sight of the people who make it happen.
Whether you’re leading a business transformation, delivering organisational change, adopting new technology, or supporting your team’s wellbeing, we’re here to make the process clearer, kinder, and more successful.
We combine sharp program management, practical change and program management services, and science-backed Work on Wellbeing assessments to help you build momentum, reduce friction, and create lasting results.
Because growth isn’t just about ticking off milestones. It’s about lifting people up along the way.

More clarity. Less complexity. Stronger partnerships
At MEC Consulting, we don’t just deliver services – we live our values in every project.
We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all playbooks. We tailor every engagement to your goals, your people, and your environment.
We’re also not a “one and done” consultancy.
When a project needs extra hands, we bring in trusted partners from our national network – people who share our values and commitment to care-led delivery. That way, you get the right expertise at the right time, without compromising culture or quality.
Meet Mary-Ellen
Founder & Director – MEC Consulting
Mary-Ellen Catchpole started MEC Consulting in 2012 with one clear purpose: To help people and organisations handle change in a way that lifts them up, not wears them down.
With over 25 years’ experience in change management, program management consulting, stakeholder engagement, workplace wellbeing, and strategic communication, Mary-Ellen leads a team that supports clients across both public and private sectors.
She’s a proud Queenslander, originally from Mackay, now calling Brisbane and Hobart home. Her favourite part of the job? Helping teams cut through complexity, break down resistance, and build stronger relationships along the way.
And while she takes her work very seriously, she never takes herself too seriously – a few laughs go a long way when you’re solving complex problems (and the research agrees).
